Lauren became intrigued with writing, acting and movies when she was very young. As a child she watched movies like "Waxwork",
"Labyrinth", "Lost Boys" and
"Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" a million times each.
Lauren has gone to university twice. She holds a BA in Communications and Fine Arts and a MA in History and Fine Arts. Her masters thesis was titled "The Horror Genre" and was an intense history of the genre through film, books and television.
Lauren has worked in every field from publishing to dance studio management. She knows a lot about World War II and film history. She would like to get her PhD but it costs a lot of money.
Lauren is now in her 30s. 
She's played guitar for 20 years now, and once played with Green Day.
Lauren has studied classical ballet for several years and has only suffered one bone breakage.
Lauren enjoys a tea before bed. She likes to drink lots of water. Lauren is extremely clumsy - and has a tendency to trip on smooth solid surfaces.
Lauren has been writing for Bloody-Disgusting.com since April of 2011 and Fandomania.com since 2012.
